This season at AWD has brought me from the beautiful vistas of the North Carolina mountains, to the sandy white beaches of the coast. Never a dull moment- I quickly wrapped up one of our largest projects thus far (Blowing Rock- a complete post coming on that soon!) and headed out to meet a new client in Wrightsville Beach. Does it ever cease to amaze you what a little fresh salt air can do for the soul? A deep breath and a glass of wine had me renewed and ready to thrust my creative self into overdrive. There is just no shortage of inspiration when it comes to being at the beach. No matter if you find yourself on the New England coast or down by the Gulf, there is a sense of childlike joy walking into a home decorated for sandy toes and sunburned noses.
