Want to know a few of my favorite furniture stores in Charlotte, NC ? Some of the most interesting furniture stores in Charlotte are easier to find than you may think. These stores range from whimsical to modern, and just about everything in-between. Is there anything better than finding exactly the right piece for your space, especially when you can see it in person? Here are a few of my favorite local Charlotte area design stores.
Slate
1401 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205
Over 90 unique merchants and artists showcase their pieces at Slate, an interior design store located in the heart of Plaza Midwood. What do I love so much about this gem? It might be the fact that you can often find exceptional pieces or the fact that Slate is a plethora of carefully cultivate furniture, art, and accessories unlike any other in the Queen City. It also might be that Slate is always my go-to when looking for that art or accessory that will just complete a room. Inventory changes daily so there is always new arrivals to fawn over (and maybe take home).
Nadeau
3100 South Blvd, in Charlotte, NC 28209
Run don’t walk to this furniture store. Seriously. Real wood pieces with trendsetting appeal combined with incredible prices make Nadeau a must see if you are looking to furnish your home. Open seven days a week, the store is continuously updating their stock and things move quickly. What is on the floor is what is in stock- so if you find something it is probably in your best interest to purchase that day. Tremendous quality for the price, check out Nadeau if you need anything from a side table to a large buffet.
Elements 4 Life
6024 NC-73, Davidson, NC 28036
Right outside the quaint town of Davidson (about 3o minutes North of the Queen City) lies a whimsical looking cottage where unique pieces and beautiful accessories can be found. Elements is a one stop shop for funky outdoor accessories and lovely garden adornments. Once inside, each room is assembled as an eclectic mix of whimsy with the pure essence of rustic chic. Reinvented Charlotte
3224 Benard Ave, Charlotte, NC 28206
Located in Noda, Reinvented Charlotte takes preloved pieces and not only just reinvents them- they revitalize them to better than their former glory. Owner Michael Lankford takes “pride in mixing modern design with vintage furniture & textiles for a modern twist with a timeless foundation.” I’m never disappointed in the selection and love that I can find unique items for my clients that they won’t find anywhere else.
