How can any Holiday compete with fireworks, grilling out, and spending a day on the lake celebrating our country’s freedom? Okay, Christmas is first for our family, but Fourth of July runs a close second. The Charlotte area is finally getting a break from an impressive heat wave that had it’s grips on our part of the country for the past week (we were able to escape to Scott’s homeland, Canada, for a week of R&R so we luckily dodged the oppressive temperatures).
Now that we are back home we are ready to get our red, white, and blue on. I’m always on the lookout for new ways to get inspired for the Fourth.
